The first Jordan X release of the year starts out strong with the OG colorway in the “Chicagos.” Early on, there were rumors when the details leaked that the Xs would feature Jordan’s number 23 on the side of the shoe, as well as other rumors claiming there would be his NBA returning number 45. 5. Orlando Magic
According to sources the New Jersey Nets and free agent guard DeShawn Stevenson have reached a deal on a one-year, $2.5 million contract.
6. Philadelphia 76ers
7. Indiana Pacers
Larry Bird and company have a good thing going in Indiana, they are a very young team with a lot of promise. I might be low-balling them with the 7th seed that is how much potential this group has. They have an all-star in Danny Granger and have surrounded him with some very talented young players, all while keeping $15 million in cap space. Few teams are sitting in a better position for the future than the Pacers.
8. Milwaukee Bucks
Last season, the Bucks finished as the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference, missing the playoffs by two games. They were one of the best defensive teams in basketball, but they were also one of the worst offensive teams in the league. It doesn’t matter how good you are on defense if you aren’t able to generate points on the offensive end. During the offseason they made some moves in hopes of ironing out the offense. They traded Corey Maggette for Stephen Jackson, then signed Beno Udrih and Mike Dunleavy, and drafted forward Tobias Harris.

Sneakerheads and average joes have been buzzing about the upcoming release since the leaked images and details this past Summer. Other than the DMP (Defining Moments Pack) XIs that were slightly varied with gold, the Concords haven’t been seen since Y2K. Which makes the hype even stronger. Jordan has stayed true to the trend of dropping a pair of XIs near the holiday for the past three years now, and rumor has it he won’t stop by supposedly releasing the Columbia XIs for the 2012 holiday.
It seems like Herb pope is trying his best to be the Van Wilder of Seton Hall, it feels like he’s been there for about 10 seasons. His seemingly long stay is finally culminating into a All-American worthy final season. It hasn’t been an easy road but Pope has fought through adversity and become one of the better players in the country.
By now everyone knows the big names like Jared Sullinger, Harrison Barnes, and Terrence Jones. Rightfully so, they are big-time stars, at some of the best basketball schools in the country. However there are some very good players that don’t get the recognition that they deserve because they do not play for a perennial powerhouse school. So lets take a look at some guys that are having spectacular seasons for a mid-major school.
